You can be an angel!

Pick a tag from the Angel Tree in the Atrium to buy a gift for a child in need.

The Compassionate Community Service team partners with Britepaths in their Holiday Program to help families in need in the Fairfax County area with food and gifts for Christmas. We sponsored the same 15 families for Thanksgiving by taking them food baskets or grocery gift cards to provide a tasty holiday meal

Choose a Gift Tag

The Angel Tree will be set up starting November 24 in the Atrium with gift tags marked with the name, age, and wishes of children from 15 families. Please select a tag write your  name and contact information on the signup sheet so we can contact you if necessary. Bring the wrapped gift to the church no later than Saturday, December 14.

Contribute for Grocery Gift Cards

You can also contribute cash or a check to enable us to give grocery gift cards to each of the 15 families we are sponsoring for Christmas meals.

Santa's Workshop

On Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m. join the Community Service team in the Atrium and Kitchen for gift wrapping, sorting, and cookie decorating as we prepare the gifts to be delivered. Parents who are participating in the Angel Tree program can

Parents' Morning Out

As a special gift to the parents in the congregation, the Community Service Team is offering a Parents' Morning Out for all families who participate in the Angel Tree program. The morning out will be during Santa's Workshop, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14. The kids will help decorate cookies, have a pizza lunch, and do projects to help with the Angel Tree program. More information and registration is located in the Atrium at the Angel Tree table.
