Seneca Regional Park: Potomac Heritage Trail to Watkins Island Overlook
This is a 5.8-mile out-and-back trail near Great Falls, Virginia. The hike is considered a moderately challenging route, and takes 2–2.5 hours to complete.
The trail winds through the forest alongside the Potomac River, featuring pebbly beaches and great water views.
Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
