I like to come to the Meditation Garden when something is on my mind. Today, what is on my mind is that there was another mass shooting in our country that was racially motivated. It breaks my heart. The preponderance of hate speech in our country. The value of everyone in our country. Hate speech may be protected, but it serves no purpose. Mentally ill people get entranced by this message and allow it to become a vehicle for meeting some need that they have. Our calling is to look within ourselves to see what we can do to make the world a better place for everyone. Let us pray for peace.
