Kalahn Taylor-Clark

Kalahn Taylor-Clark
Keeper of the Flame

Kalahn’s first encounter with Unity came during the preparation of her mother’s funeral. To Kalahn’s great surprise, her mother, a self-described agnostic (at most), had donated every month to the Daily Word at the end of her life. So, in lieu of flowers, her mother’s family and friends were directed to send donations to Unity. However, Kalahn was unaware that Unity was an actual movement until she started going to Unity of Washington, DC, when her son was only 3 years old. Kalahn officially joined Unity of Washington, DC in 2019, and attended online services throughout the pandemic. Kalahn joined Unity of Fairfax in 2021, and has proudly served as a platform assistant as well as on the finance subcommittee of the Board of Trustees. In 2022, she also started SEE courses in pursuit of becoming a Unity minister. Since then, she has had the honor to work with members of the “twelve” (African American Unity ministers) to develop an east coast Summit to energize young people to join the New Thought movement.
