Hike and Picnic Lunch in the Piedmont Foothills, Sky Meadows Park, Paris, VA
Meet at the church at 9 am. We’ll carpool and arrive at Sky Meadows Park in about an hour. It’s a nice country drive after Haymarket. Back at church by 1:30 pm.
Bring a brown bag lunch and sturdy shoes. Birds, mountains and cows are on view, so a camera and binoculars are fun to have. After the moderately difficult walk/hike, we’ll eat lunch in a serene picnic grove by the historic farmhouse. Potluck desserts welcome!
More information about touring the historic farmhouse and property, park amenities, hiking, etc. at: http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/sky.shtml. Admission price per vehicle is $4.

What a glorious, melodious testimony."
